10:15AM Sunday Worship Service

Come See Us!

Have you ever been to an unfamiliar place and felt a little uncomfortable? We know how you feel. Coming to a new church can be a little intimidating, and we want you to know what to expect.

What are your services like?

Our worship style is traditional and innovative with music led by the Madison Street Choir, Children’s Choirs, Handbells, and instrumentalists. This service usually includes Children's Message and Children’s Church (Kids Core). We celebrate Holy Communion the first Sunday of the month. In our United Methodist tradition, you don’t have to be a member or a certain age to participate.

We believe that children and youth are an important part of our worship community! Children of all ages are welcome in our worship services. If you would like childcare during the worship service, we have a professionally staffed nursery for children four years old and under. We are worship both online and in person at 10:15 a.m.  Our online services are available via Livestream and Facebook Live, but is available at any time here.  Please change these links to our links! :) If you’re joining us online, say hello in the comments. We would love to connect with you!

Where should I park?

We have a parking lot on Madison Street in front of Dollar General. Handicap parking is available at our Commerce Street entrance.

Where should I go when I enter the building?

We have greeters located at both the Madison Street and Commerce Street entrances to help you find where you need to go.  For safety and security purposes, our Commerce Street entrance locks at 10:15 a.m. If it is after 10:15, please come to our Madison Street entrance.

Do you provide childcare?

We have a professionally-staffed nursery for newborns through age four and a children's church for age five through grade five.

What should I wear?

Many of our attendees wear business casual clothing, but there is no set dress code. You are welcome to come as you are, whether you’re in your best clothes or your work uniform after a long shift. Come in whatever you’re comfortable wearing. We’re just excited for you to join us!

AM I EXPECTED TO GIVE MONEY?

As our guest, we do not expect any money from you. We will have an offering during the service, but we encourage you to let the plates pass you by. The offering is a way for the Madison Street family to respond to God and join the mission of the church through their giving. If you’re new, we don’t expect you to give. Our service is a gift to you. If you do consider Madison Street United Methodist Church your church home or feel moved to support God’s work happening in and through the church, we’d love for you prayerfully to consider regular giving. You can give by check or cash at weekend services or any time during the week when you’re on campus, or you can give online at madisonstreetumc.org/giving or by texting GIVE2MSUMC to 73526.
