Suzuki® at Madison Street - Fall 2021
More than fifty years ago, Japanese musician Shinichi Suzuki realized the implications of the fact that children the world over learn to speak their native language with ease. He began to apply the basic principles of language acquisition to the learning of music, and called his method the "mother-tongue" approach. The ideas of parent responsibility, loving encouragement, constant repetition, etc. are some of the special features of the Suzuki® approach.

The Suzuki® Program observes a 14-week semester with individual lessons available in-person or virtually.
Group classes meet in-person.
Lessons begin the week of August 23 and will conclude by December 10.
This builds in two 'flex weeks' in order to accommodate make-up lessons.
Scheduling will begin the week of August 9 and continues through August 22.
Your assigned instructor will contact you during that timeframe to schedule a lesson day and time.
There is a $10 registration fee per student/per instrument.
