Madison Street United Methodist Church

New Senior Pastor, the Rev. Cliff C. Wright, Jr. and his wife, Amy,
have joined the Clarksville community.

Lunch will follow Cliff's first sermon on July 17th...

The church will host a welcome luncheon for the Wrights following his first sermon on July 17. The church will provide meat and drinks and members will be asked to bring a side dish. Those with last names beginning with A-F may bring salads; G-M may bring vegetables; N-S may bring desserts; and T-Z may bring bread. Kay Martin is coordinating the lunch.

Rev. Wright has most recently served as the Senior Pastor at Brentwood United Methodist Church in Brentwood, Tennessee. Previously, he has served churches in Jackson, TN; Jackson, MS; Slidell, LA; Lubbock, TX; and Baton Rouge, LA. He is married to Amy Ragsdale Wright, a nursing home consultant pharmacist. They have two children, Adam, who is pursuing a medical degree, and Meredith, who is studying at the University of Tennessee. Cliff earned his Master of Divinity degree from Vanderbilt University and his B.S. degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin. He is a native of Union City, Tennessee.
